Digital Marketing Manager


Balluun provides cloud-based Digital Market Network solution to wholesale network operators such as trade event organizers to launch and grow industry-specific B2B marketplaces (each of which is called a domain). We not only help customers (a.k.a domain partners) launch a new domain quickly with our multi-tenant SaaS platform, but also provide professional services to grow each domain as a successful digital business. 


Marketing at Balluun covers the entire lifecycle of a domain, from acquisition (sale of a domain), launch, to growth. The acquisition phase targets prospective domain partners, with goals to drive demand and enable sales of new domains. The launch and growth phase target end users (buyers and sellers) of each domain, with goals to drive user engagement, and growth of members and revenue. The Marketing function consists of Product Marketing that focuses on domain acquisition, and Domain Marketing that focuses on domain launch and growth, and is operated as a service to domain partners. 


Balluun is looking for a passionate and experienced Digital Marketing Manager in the area of Domain Marketing. You will serve as the marketing lead in the launch and growth phase of our domains across a variety of industry verticals. You will define and execute marketing initiatives and deliverables, and work closely with company leadership, product, customer success and domain partners to support overall domain performance and revenue goals. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop quarterly marketing plans with concrete marketing initiatives and solid campaign calendar aligned with goals and priorities for each domain.
  • Produce messaging guide, collaterals, landing pages, and emails for new domain launch following an established process; work closely with customer success and sales to reach launch goals; work closely with the designer and domain partners to deliver each piece on-time and efficiently.
  • Develop a scalable marketing messaging framework across the lifecycle of a domain user (buyer and seller) covering acquisition, activation, engagement and retention, that can be replicated across different domains. Adapt the framework to each domain for content, style, and voice.
  • Collaborate with partners on creating and executing domain-specific marketing programs such as marketplace promotions or event-specific campaigns.
  • Manage editorial content for each domain on a regular basis such as merchandising content and featured/paid placement.
  • Work with product marketing to promote new features to buyers and sellers and drive adoption of the platform.
  • Implement performance-driven campaigns, analyze data, and continuously optimize emails, in-app messages, landing pages etc to improve KPI and campaign performance
  • Work closely with the marketing associate and IT operations on managing user data, tagging, segmentation and analytics on marketing delivery tools such as Mailchimp and Intercom.


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a digital marketing role, preferably related to SaaS, e-commerce and marketplace. 
  • Successful track-record developing digital marketing plans, executing, measuring, and delivering on performance targets
  • Well-versed in state-of-the-art marketing technology and tools. Proficient with email, CRM, marketing automation, and web analytics tools. 
  • Ability to learn quickly, and execute from concept to deployment is crucial. 
  • Exceptional copywriting skills, with great attention to detail and design sensibility
  • Strong project management and client management skills.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, with a collaborative spirit.
  • BA/BS degree required
